  NPFL: Kano Pillars Adopt Katsina As New Home Ground   By Niyi Busari     The Nigerian Professional Football League side, Kano Pillars have now relocated to Muhammad Dikko stadium Katsina where they will be playing their matches League games starting with Nasarawa United Match-day 17 tie, BSNSports.com.ng can report.     The Football club have adopted Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna from beginning of the season following the conversion of Sani Abacha Stadium into an isolation centre.     The former champions have lost some points at home following the new adopted home ground including losing at home to Rivers United in NPFL Matchday 16 clash.     When contacted the media officer of Kano Pillars football club, Rilwanu Malikawa, confirmed the relocation of Kano Pillars football club to Muhammad Dikko stadium in Katsina.     "The League management company has relocated Kano Pillars football club from Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna to Muhammad Dikko Stadium Katsina in Katsina State." He said.   He said they received the directives from the League Management Company (LMC) on Friday evening that the team has been relocated to Katsina with immediate effect.   Malikawa said the statement from the LMC and signed by the chief operating officer, Salihu Abubakar stated security reasons and encroachment into the playing field during their match with Rivers United football club in match day 16 at Kaduna as major reasons the team was relocated to Katsina.   The statement added that Kano Pillars football club would play their home matches game at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium Katsina starting from match day seventeen against Nasarawa United football club on Sunday.
